Magnolia Landing has 32 ponds all maintained by the CDD estimated at a total of 108 acres. You can see the ARCGIS map and review the ponds here.
Some (17) of these ponds have fountains to circulate water. Others have aerators that serve the same purpose. The map below shows the ponds in blue, fountains as green flowers in ponds and the pond interconnect pipes in pink. You can see that pond areas are interconnected into groups, but not all ponds are interconnected. The west side (left side of map) has two main pond groups and the east side (right side of map) has three pond groups, and there are two stand-alone ponds. So water is shared and pond levels are averaged.
Water from various ponds is pumped to irrigate our properties and the golf course. We have five pumps in all. Here is the list with the service company maintaining the pump.
- Pump Station 1/Site One – servicing Pigeon Plum, Fiddlewood and Sweetbay.
- Pump Station 2/Site One – services Plumwood.
- Pump Station 3/Site One – services Camino Torcido Loop.
- Pump Station 5/Site One – services the new Crosswater and Rollinwater.
- Pump the original Station 4/Setpoint – serving Long Pond, Magnolia Landing, Chestnut Ridge, Redstone, Skymeadow, Castle Pines, historic Crosswater, Avenida Del Vera, Cherry Flower and Cherry Palm.

Then there are nine (9) controllers covering 1075 zones. Our systems are a combination of old and new, ranging from 3 years old to nearly 20 years old.
We also have wells in various locations dug to various depths which supply water to our ponds. Many will know the well that pours water in the pond on the north side of Avenida Del Vera supplying water to pond 169 which then shares water with pond 170, 170A, 171, 167 and others.
Irrigation Status
Recently the CDD and HOA met to discuss the community wide irrigation issues. The age of the irrigation system (2006) and the additional homes since 2022 have created challenges that were not handled prior to the turnover on July 31, 2025. Yellowstone and Sunrise are coordinating their efforts to repair system failures as this continues you will see progress. Years of neglected maintenance cannot be corrected overnight.
Sunrise Landscaping and Irrigation has an irrigation crew working to repair all controllers and all zones. They are travelling street-by-street and house-by-house repairing wiring, sprinkler heads, controllers, sensors, and regulators.
Sunrise Update
Sunrise Landscape is currently working to restore power to all irrigation valves across the following properties/streets:
| Street / Property | % Restored | Notes |
| Chestnut Ridge | 100% | Complete |
| Magnolia Landing | 95% | Nearing completion |
| Sky Meadow | 75% | Locating wire break where lines cross road |
| Castle Pines | 65% | Right side powered; extending power to left side past controller |
| Redstone Circle | 50% | Locating break in two-wire run crossing road to each villa |
| Crosswater | 50% | Prioritizing Castle Pines completion before shifting focus here |
Overall Status
In progress — multiple locations have active wire breaks being traced and repaired. Crews are sequencing work to finish Castle Pine before moving to Crosswater.
Work Order Portal
In addition to this power restoration effort, we are actively monitoring the work order portal and generating work tickets for the crew as new requests come in. These are being completed alongside the ongoing power outage repairs in the areas listed above.
Next Steps
Continue locating and repairing wire breaks at Sky Meadow, Redstone Circle, and Castle Pine. Updated confirmation will follow once all valves are verified operational. Since this is the rainy season, we are hoping that mother nature will cooperate as she has been for the last several weeks. Please understand that manually turning on your water at the valve box is not allowed. It disrupts the irrigation cycle for your neighbors, puts additional stress on the pumps, and increased electricity costs. Using metered water is your option.
